whodat211 Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Looking for tips on bidding on these dates. Prefer a 4* in the Times Square area. What should I be looking to pay? I want to be in the middle of things, but I am willing to try a different zone or maybe a 3.5 *. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
AaronJB Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Welcome to Betterbidding! :)Please let us know your budget per night and which PRICELINE zones you may be interested in besides TS. These are busy dates and many hotels are booked up, so prices will be high. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.
whodat211 Posted December 17, 2009 Author Report Posted December 17, 2009 Maybe willing to go to MTE or MTW. Looking to spend around 200 a night.
AaronJB Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Unfortunately, I don't think $200 is going to be enough for these dates due to NYE. I'm guessing that the likely range for a 3.5* in these zones may be $235-250+, and a 4* will probably run $300+. HOTWIRE is showing midtown 4*'s for $329 to $475 for a 4* in TS (HOTWIRE has a 3.5* in TS for $409.)
thereuare Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Looking to spend around 200 a night. We'll suggest a strategy for whatever zone(s) and limit you'd like, but do have any back-up plan... i'm guessing you're going to need to compromise on star rating, budget or location as $200 won't likely be enough for a hotel in Manhattan during New Years Eve.Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
