Hotwire Hotel: Museum campus/soldier field- what hotel is this?

I need a hotel near the university of chicago/museum of science and industry. visiting a friend at the university so I need to be close to that area.

4 star, $79 night in Museum Campus - McCormick Place - Soldier Field Hotel

amenities = fitness, pool, restaurant, biz center, and high speed internet.

OR I could go for the 2.5 star in South Chicago/Hyde park for $59. Amenities = pool, restaurant, high speed internet. This one would probably be closer to the area i need to be, but I am wary of 2 stars, unless you can tell me which one it is so I can look at reviews.

hmm, looks like the 4 star could be either of these, but no idea what that 2.5* is.

I'm guessing the 2.5* Hyde Park may be the Ramada Lakeshore.

Personally, I'd instead recommend the 4*, which may be the Hilton or Hyatt McCormick. If you need to ensure that it's the Hyatt McCormick, that hotel is $89 via Orbitz.com, and coupon code WELCOME10 takes 10% off = $80.51 - about a buck and a half more than the HOTWIRE listing.

you're right, i think it is the Hyatt McCormick. I can book the hotel for $89 right through Hyatt.com. Then I can use my hyatt gold passport rewards. one more stay and i get a free night. also on hyatt's site is stay 1 night, get 2nd night 50% off when you pay with AMEX. So HOTWIRE's price isn't enough of a deal for me. i'll just book straight through Hyatt.
