Priceline Hotel: Bidding Strategy - 1/31/09-2/7/09

Please help with a bidding strategy for:

Kaanapali 4* Jan. 31 - Feb. 4

Wailea Resort - Feb. 4-7

I need 2 rooms for each night. I see that people are getting the Hyatt in Kaanapali for around $130 a night.

And I see people are getting the Marriott in Wailea for $95 a night. I realize there are other hotels I may get

and that is okay. Can you tell me what you think I should be able to get them for for these dates? I am flexible

on price but obviously want to get the best deal possible. Are there any resort fees or hidden fees at these hotels?

there is no Kaanapali 4*.

Got denied at up to $150 for the Resort in Kaanapali from Jan. 31-Feb. 5th. Any suggestions?

Got denied up to $193 a night at the resort on Kaanapali.

Now I am looking at the $203 a night for the 4* on Hotwire. Can you help identify?

-Beachfront

-Fitness

-Pool

-Restaurant

-Business

-Laundry

-High Speed Internet

I am confused because it seems like the Sheraton and the Hyatt say "children's activities" and I am wondering what else this hotel could be.

You've discussed multiple dates in this thread... i'm not seeing the above 4* when searching for Jan. 31-Feb. 5th. Are these your current dates for this trip? If so, are you still seeing the 4* hotel above?
