Post: tried 5* in Midtown east and was rejected. Started over and tried a 4* at $102 for UM-CPS and was rejected, added free zone, Upper West side at $110 and was rejected, added Upper East side at $120 and received this hotel

Most bid the MTE and MTW zones (which are a bit less expensive) before adding the UM/CPS zone, so we don't see this hotel come up too often. Looks like you wanted this area and it looks like you made out quite well!

Definitely a nice win. It's been a long time since I've seen a 4* UM-CPS win @ $120!

(Speaking of which, how long since we've seen a 4* MTS win in that range?)

I think the 4* MTS hotels have priced themselves out of the market. This isn't to say this will always be the case, but it has been for the recent past.
