LoneStar Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Wanted the Embassy Suites again for $41, it wasn't accepted for this night and I got this for $43 on rebid. I'll do a hotel review.
thereuare Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 As soon as i saw this title i thought to myself, "What happened to the ES?"Lots of 3 star properties in this zone so i guess we should expect any of them at any time.Hope you enjoyed your stay... but tough to do when you have to not only pay for drinks in the evening, but breakfast the following day too! :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
LoneStar Posted January 5, 2005 Author Report Posted January 5, 2005 Yes, this is the probably the most unpredictable zone in the nation! Fortunately, over the years I've stayed in pretty much all the 3-star LAX hotels (exclusively through priceline the past 5 years) and I can't say I've found a bad one. You obviously get more for your money at the Embassy Suites, but I guess you need to look at that as a windfall, and expect to get a more conventional hotel.FWIW, I did have an inkling I would not be getting the Embassy Suites when my $41 bid was rejected, and I had to raise it two bucks to get the Radisson.
