PanAmPatti Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Began bidding for 2.5* hotels @ $51. (3,4,5* were not offered) Rejected. Changed to 2* & raised bid to $55 and won bid dated 12/10/09Taxes & Fees $14.39. Grand Total $69.39.Amenities: Free Parking, Free Wi Fi, City Center, Coffee Maker in room Reviews "mostly" good. Some quite good so I'm not worried. Website photos look nice but don't always tell the truth! This was my first time using priceline & I now think I could have only changed to a 2* request and kept the bid at $51....probably would have gotten it. Who knows. I got confused & thought I need to raise the bid too.

PanAmPatti Posted December 11, 2009 Author Report Posted December 11, 2009 ! night only for the win: IN 12/24/09 // OUT 12/25/09I had put this information in the subject line & it didn't show up completely.I have a question about what people sometimes put into the "optional" subject line. Is THAT where the dates of stay are supposed to go?thanks for answering my newbie questions. I do wish to contribute so that others have the "information" advantage when they bid.
AaronJB Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 Thank you for the follow-up. Correct, the dates and price are meant to go in the second line of the topic.
