nilkaya Posted May 15, 2003 Author Report Posted May 15, 2003 I am giving more info on my bidding history.I first bid for $45 for a 4*. Rejected, but there was a counter offer of $13 more. I rejected the counter offer and add Troutsville area, which I know only have 1* hotels. Increase the bidding price to $48. Priceline accepted. The tax was around $5.60.
thereuare Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for leading by example. :)Now that we can no longer determine Priceline's cost based upon the taxes, Nilkaya added this info due to the information posted here: Why it's IMPORTANT to post your pricelne bid history Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
johnsong19 Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 I don't see a selection for 4* in roanoke now. Does Priceline still offer the Roanoke Inn?
thereuare Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 This thread is from 2003... as PRICELINE does not offer 4* bidding in this region (nor 3.5* bidding for that matter) i don't think that this property currently participates with the 'name your own price' service of PRICELINE.
