I am giving more info on my bidding history.

I first bid for $45 for a 4*. Rejected, but there was a counter offer of $13 more.

I rejected the counter offer and add Troutsville area, which I know only have 1* hotels. Increase the bidding price to $48. Priceline accepted. The tax was around $5.60.

I don't see a selection for 4* in roanoke now. Does Priceline still offer the Roanoke Inn?

This thread is from 2003... as PRICELINE does not offer 4* bidding in this region (nor 3.5* bidding for that matter) i don't think that this property currently participates with the 'name your own price' service of PRICELINE.
