Well, it turns out I'm not saving money with this booking, since hyatt.com has rooms that night for $88. I tried to submit a low-price guarantee refund request to Hotwire, but got an error from the website, so I had to call them.

The refund went through (woo hoo, fun times with my two dollars!). But after taxes and fees, I'm still losing money, since Hotwire charged $103.34 with taxes ($105.34 minus the $2), while hyatt.com charges $100.72 with tax. I asked if they could give me anything for my trouble, and they said they'd forward my request to their research department.

HOTWIRE is now offering rooms at that hotel for $79.

They may offer you some HotDollars to use on a future purchase... but glad that you took the effort to notifiy them as it will hopefully help them get better pricing from the hotel in the future.
