redondoTouristAug09 Posted December 9, 2009 Author Report Posted December 9, 2009 Well, it turns out I'm not saving money with this booking, since hyatt.com has rooms that night for $88. I tried to submit a low-price guarantee refund request to Hotwire, but got an error from the website, so I had to call them. The refund went through (woo hoo, fun times with my two dollars!). But after taxes and fees, I'm still losing money, since Hotwire charged $103.34 with taxes ($105.34 minus the $2), while hyatt.com charges $100.72 with tax. I asked if they could give me anything for my trouble, and they said they'd forward my request to their research department.HOTWIRE is now offering rooms at that hotel for $79.
