I am looking for The Drake or Swissotel, but am open to others. I read lots of the topics in this forum, and didn't find what I was looking for, so I was hoping for some feedback. Yes, I've read many of the hotel profiles, but it seems that there have been some significant changes in the past 6-12 months in their hotwire profiles.

I am avoiding the 4 1/2 star listing, as we did Intercontinental through Hotwire a year ago, and hated it. Tiny, claustrophobic room facing another grey building, disinterested staff, and highest parking fee in Chicago.

The Sax doesn't have a pool. The above would more likely be a match for the Sheraton.

We have stayed at Drake for $99, and the room was huge!

i searched 2 adults 2 kids, 12/21 - one night and got 4 star at $76 with Fitness, Restaurant, Biz Center and Intenet

i tried matching it up and got the following

sorry- i thought since the original poster's request and info was the same as mine that it would go in the same thread. also, i did search the links that's how i found this thread and the hotels i listed that i thought may be the match to hotwire.
