reppin_the_847 Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 We knew that we'd be headed to the Detroit Pistons vs. Milwaukee Bucks game at the Palace of Auburn Hills on this fine evening, so we decided to secure lodging just a few short miles from the arena. I put up a $33 bid, and landed this 3-star hotel in Pontiac on the first shot. Keep in mind that there's also another Courtyard by Marriott about 3 miles north in Auburn Hills. This is the Pontiac location on Centerpoint Parkway. The area is safe, and very close to highway 75. It is at least a couple miles to get from this hotel to the real core areas of Pontiac. Commute times to Auburn Hills, Bloomfield Hills, and other nearby suburbs are quite short as well. Taxes & fees added up to $10.83, so the total price out the door was $43.83. Overall, this was a great deal, and I didn't have any complaints! And to cap things off, the injury-riddled Pistons pulled off a much needed win in front of the home crowd.
