Trishs Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 Hi, My first post not sure how this works. I am going on a cruise and would like a beach front hotel Jan 6-9 I haven't been here before so no idea where to stay. I have never did hotwire or price line. Any help wereto stay or how to get the hotel would be great. Thanks Trish
AaronJB Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 Welcome to the site. :)In terms of guaranteeing a beach-front property, PRICELINE would not offer a guarantee of this amenity. You would have to search on HOTWIRE and see if there was a listing for your dates with a "beachfront" icon showing. What would be your budget per night for hotel? Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.

AaronJB Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 The 4* Hollywood Beach area HOTWIRE property mentioned above could be a match for either the Crowne Plaza Sian Resort or Westin Diplomat, but of those two, my guess is that it is more likely the Westin. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links.
Trishs Posted December 6, 2009 Author Report Posted December 6, 2009 Thanks,I thought I would try zone 5 on PRICELINE, it says I need to check additional areas, what do I do if I don't want additional areas?

Trishs Posted December 8, 2009 Author Report Posted December 8, 2009 Sure will. This is what was so helpful, I started biding at $100 and raised by $5 increments. When I got to $150 it asked me to raise my bid $25 instead I did your board suggestion and raised $5 and chose a zone that didn't have a 4 * This was so scary for me since I didn't want the other zone. But like the board said. It worked. They accepted my bid at $155. I check right after and found that the rooms were going for $320. So I"m very happy with it.Star Rating 4*Marriott Harbor Beach ResortFort Laughderdale FLZone 5$155 per nightJan 6th- 9th 2010Thanks Again Trish
