tess Posted December 3, 2009 Author Report Posted December 3, 2009 Please post your date(s) for the stay and we'll have a look at this.Yellowdog.Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.thanks. This is for Dec 5 for one night.
yellowdog Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Yes, it could be the Wyndham. But Doubletree is just reported with the same amenitie combo so you should have an open mind for both. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase, and let us know how it goes.Yellowdog.
tess Posted December 3, 2009 Author Report Posted December 3, 2009 Just reserved this on Hotwire for $59 +tax.Shuttle, Exercise,Pool,Restaurant, Internet It is the Wyndham.Tried bidding on Downtown 3* and 4* up to $70 with no luck.Free airport shuttle to this property makes it worth staying there.I did use the HOTWIRE link at the top of the page
AaronJB Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 Congratulations on your success!Quite a nice deal for this Wyndham property. Glad you are pleased with the result. Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using the site's HOTWIRE linkEnjoy your stay.
Froufie Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 New here and a bit confused - if this is the 'hotwire' thread and we are talking about hotwire pricing - why are some people (like the one above) talking about bidding in 3* or 4* areas, etc? It is my understanding that there is no bidding with HOTWIRE (only with PRICELINE) or am I missing something? If this is the case maybe we need to remind people to post in the right 'section' of the threads so us newbies don't get all mixed up! (or maybe 'admins' can move the threads to the appropriate area?)Thanks:)
yellowdog Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 FroufieIf this is the case maybe we need to remind people to post in the right 'section' of the threads so us newbies don't get all mixed up! (or maybe 'admins' can move the threads to the appropriate area?)OP has posted in the correct section. Poster is just saying that she tried and failed with PRICELINE before she booked with HOTWIRE. A 100% correct post. And there is no need to be confused since PRICELINE wins are never posted with an amenitie combo. And all posts regarding the same stay should be keept in one thread. We edit the post in the end for the correct section.Yellowdog.
Froufie Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 Excelelnt - this now makes sense! Thanks for the clarification. :)
