loraccarol Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 Hi everyone,I am a betterbidding.com newbie, and would like to get your input. I am trying to bid on three nights around Burbank area, and decided to give it a shot after seeing another user bid successfully in the same area, stars and similar dates (The poster bid on Dec.24-27 and won the Hilton Los Angeles North for $55). This is a history of my unsuccessful bids so far. Can someone please let me know how I should bid? I didn't think the slightly difference in dates would make THAT big of a difference...much appreciated! :)Check-In Date: December 22, 2009Check-Out Date: December 25, 2009Unsuccessful bids on Dec.1:Tried for 4* in Burbank - Universal City - Glendale @ $55 - rejectedTried for 3.5* in Burbank - Universal City - Glendale @ $55 - rejected
AaronJB Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Different dates (even if some overlap) can certainly make a difference, although in an area like this, it won't make as much of a difference as in some other areas (such as NYC, where there can be major variations in price between dates.)What would be your max bid per night? Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.
