Priceline Hotel: 3.5* St Petersburg-Clearwater (Clearwater Beach) Marriott Suites

Got 3 nights at Marriott Suites for $110/night over Thanksgiving.

This hotel is much nicer than the Sheraton across the road... the restaurant is great, and the rooms are proper suites (which was very nice with a baby sleeping in a pack-and-play in the living room). Nice high-def flat screens too. Great deal for $110.

The only minor con is that you have to cross the street to get to the beach, but it's an easy walk (low-traffic street)--and frankly the sand is so wide that the percentage length this adds to the walk is pretty minor.

This hotel can be trapped easily since so many of the other sub-areas nearby lack 3.5* hotels.
