At one point HOTWIRE showed some information from Tripadvisor for many hotels which was useful in helping to narrow down the hotel choices, but this information is no longer shown for most hotels.

Thanks for the help. Sorry for the dumb question, but what is a "tripadvisor rating"?

Thanks

The new rate for the original Kaanapali hotel (same time) is $203 but it now gives a Trip Advisor rating of 4.0 out of 5. All amenities are exactly the same. Can anyone help me ID this one now?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread.

For the Kaanapali property, both the Hyatt and the Sheraton have a 4.0 Tripadvisor rating, so this new information is not able to provide any additional insight. Is there one that you would be happy with but not the other?

The Wailea-Makena property matches reports for the Makena Beach and Golf Resort (previously the Maui Prince) so that would be my best guess for that one.

Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.

Sorry for the 2 posts. I thought if they were for different hotels I should put them in 2 posts.

I am really interested in the Sheraton but not the Hyatt, simply based on what I have read. Too bad there is no way to be sure.

I am not interested in the Makena Beach and Golf Resort, again just based on what I have read (reviews seem to mixed).

Thanks for your help.
