yellowdog
Yes, you have 6 free zones to use at the 3.5* level. Are you willing to pay more for a 4* vs. a 3.5* or is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better?Yellowdog. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. thereuare
PRICELINE doesn't offer 4* bidding in the MCO zone, so with your SIX re-bid zones, i'd try bidding as follows:Select 3.5* Airport...Bid $35, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $38, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $40, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $43, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $45, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $48, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $50Any questions feel free to ask. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. allybunnie
OK!! success!! Used your strategy, but decided to use lower $$ amounts - I kinda felt I could win it for under $50.00 & wanted to low-ball it for ha ha's.....used the PRICELINE link...Selected 3.5* Airport...Bid $30, rejected added re-bid zone...Bid $33, rejected added re-bid zone...Bid $37, rejected added re-bid zone...Bid $41, ACCEPTEDHyatt Regency Orlando Airport9300 Airport Blvdoffer: 41.00taxes etc: 12.65total: 53.65I am pleasantly shocked that this was the hotel to accept as it is listed as the probable 4* on Hotwire & pricing for room via website & AAA discount was $135.00 for that exact date!!!This is soooo much fun - as soon as I figure out where we want to go in the beginning part of the trip I will be looking for another "bidding strategy"THANK YOU!!! :) Link to comment
