pacificboot
Happy Thanksgiving...What I am thankful for today is...After honestly 1.5 hour of bidding... I know..I tried everything from$100 4* MTE to$140 3.5 * MTE + Brooklyn + MTW + Times Square + ESB + Long Island + Central Park South + Downtown + ChelseaSince I am staying at the Hilton for the few days before through priceline for $135, I was hoping to get the same hotel for the same price for the fourth night. And you can imagine all the re-bid zones, all different prices from $100/$105/$110/$115/$118/$120/$125/$130/$135/$140... it has been over 30 rejected bids, before I gave up on New York City, as I was not willing to go above $140.So I started to consider LGA, as I had an afternoon flight to catch the next day.Tried..3.5* for LGA and the two free re-bids from $85/$90$95 - Rejected (btw, what is Bayside, it is listed on priceline, but there is no record by bayside on betterbidding history/hotel list) - Rejected (for the 31st time)3* LGA for $80 - Won! The Holiday Inn LGA.. and regular rates were $125 + taxPretty happy with the bid. P.S. definitely used the link above for each of the 32 bid Link to comment
