jerabcar
Hi,I would like to go on holiday to San Juan de Puerto Rico from 26 to 30 DEC 09. I will travel with my wife and two children (one 16 and the other 5 years old). My idea is to stay in a hotel as close as possible to the beach and I would not like to spend more than $120, $130 per night (including taxes). Would it be possible to get a 3 star or higher hotel for this price? I wouldn't mind to stay in another area around 10, 15 miles from San Juan.Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!First "issue" is that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy... you'll be quad occupancy. You could receive a room with only one bed, and the hotel may be unable, or unwilling, to change your room to one with two beds (or there could be an additional charge to do so.Second is that you can't designate a Beachfront, or even 'near beach', property with PRICELINE... your hotel could be anywhere within the shaded boundaries of the zone. Are these risks you're willing to accept? If not, HOTWIRE is still an option as they'll allow you to search for up to quad occupancy. However, taking a quick search for your dates and 2adults/2children there is nothing at the 3* or higher level within your budget. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly.
