Eric_BBQ Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 In Hong Kong a few days and wanted to treat myself. Researched the Conrad on this site and saw it going for $110.Bidding history:$90 (WHKI) - rejected$95 (WHKI) - rejected$100 (WHKI) - countered for +$22 - ignored$105 (WHKI) - countered for +$22 - definitely ignored$110 (WHKI) - accepted for ConradAfter taxes and fees, total for 2 nights came out to $255. Nice treat for a couple of days and pretty good price considering the hotel class and area and usual rate (like $250 per night?). Decent location and close to Admiralty metro station.I'll post again on this one when I actually go to this hotel and see where they put me.

Eric_BBQ Posted January 5, 2010 Author Report Posted January 5, 2010 What a great hotel! Amazing staff and amazing food. Despite my priceline booking, I asked for a harbour view and they gave it to me even though it's a considered as a small upgrade. The room and amenities are impeccable, and I loved my view. There's nothing like making phone calls while staring out at all of Hong Kong. I had lunch one day at the Brasserie on the 8th, and although pricey, it was such a delight esp. their appetizer buffet. Their lobby even smells like Gucci Rush - my favourite scent on a woman. There's even a free shuttle to Central if you take the airport express line. The driver was absolutely crazy though, and rough rides don't usually scare me.
AaronJB Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 Wow - sounds like quite a terrific stay! :)
