In Hong Kong a few days and wanted to treat myself. Researched the Conrad on this site and saw it going for $110.

Bidding history:

$90 (WHKI) - rejected

$95 (WHKI) - rejected

$100 (WHKI) - countered for +$22 - ignored

$105 (WHKI) - countered for +$22 - definitely ignored

$110 (WHKI) - accepted for Conrad

After taxes and fees, total for 2 nights came out to $255. Nice treat for a couple of days and pretty good price considering the hotel class and area and usual rate (like $250 per night?). Decent location and close to Admiralty metro station.

I'll post again on this one when I actually go to this hotel and see where they put me.

What a great hotel! Amazing staff and amazing food. Despite my priceline booking, I asked for a harbour view and they gave it to me even though it's a considered as a small upgrade. The room and amenities are impeccable, and I loved my view. There's nothing like making phone calls while staring out at all of Hong Kong. I had lunch one day at the Brasserie on the 8th, and although pricey, it was such a delight esp. their appetizer buffet. Their lobby even smells like Gucci Rush - my favourite scent on a woman. There's even a free shuttle to Central if you take the airport express line. The driver was absolutely crazy though, and rough rides don't usually scare me.
