Amenities include a Spa which seems to rule the Intercontinental. It is probably the James. Am I looking at this correctly? I really want the IC.

There's a 4* for $69 showing in both the Mag Mile/Streeterville and in the NMA-WT-GC areas when searching for 2/2 for these dates.

What kind of hotel would you be more interested in?

Now the 4.5* star in this area lists amenities as fitness center, restaurant, business center, high speed internet. $99. Is this the Intercontinental?

I usually stay in Marriott brand hotels but I was considering the Intercontinental as a change of pace this trip. If it doesn't work out, my alternative is a suite hotel.

I have not booked yet. I can get the Omni for about $145/night and that is a suite. I assume that the Omni usually doesn't show up on Hotwire.

The Omni has shown up on HOTWIRE and PRICELINE, although rather infrequently. If you would like the Omni, I'd suggest using Expedia and coupon code 10NOV, which would take it from $145 down to $135 per night ($10 off per night.)

However, I'd rather suggest this deal:

This is a beautiful 4* property right on the river. Click "select" and then search for 2 adults for your dates on the next screen. Ended up getting the Omni Suites thru Travelzoo for $149 including parking and a $25 food voucher each day. How can you beat it. Thanks for your help.
