karen
I am wondering if this sounds like the Omni to those in the know:French Quarter (French Quarter and Downtown) $181 per room per night 4*Selected amenities include: Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, Business Center. Also, SideStep/Hotels.com is offering the Windsor Court for $253 (plus tax). Sounds too good to be true? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! The last report we have is that the Omni is rated 4*... but it could have been upgraded since last reported. There is a 4.5* with the same exact amenities (in the 2nd post of HOTWIRE HOTELS NEW ORLEANS) which is the Hotel Monteleone... and that would be my best guess as to this properties identification. If you choose to purchase this please let us know how it goes and use this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase.Any other questions or comments please let us know. karen
Wow, I can't believe they rate the Iberville Suites and Monteleone the same number of stars. I stayed at both for Jazz Fest 2001, and the Monteleone did not hold a candle to the Iberville Suites. Thanks for the info. I will certainly use your links when I am ready to book! Link to comment
karen
Thank you for the ECT information. I had never heard of them before reading this board and others like it. Are they generally reputable? I know they are a consolidator. In any case, I did use your link to "request" a reservation at the Astor Crowne Plaza for April 8-10 because that $89 rate was such a great deal. I guess I'll know in a few days if it has been accepted. Link to comment

thereuare
Sorry to hear that... do you have a "next best option" at this point? What about the HOTWIRE offerings discussed earlier? Priceline is always another option. What about the ALEXA at $149 (available) which seems to have good reviews.
