McMick Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Used the PRICELINE link on the BetterBidding web site.First bid was 3 star, North-Airport, $40...rejected.Several subsequent bids that included additional zones, included 2.5 star properties, and went up to $45 were all rejected. When I added 2 star properties, and had all zones included, I lowered the bid to $40 and it was accepted. This appears to be property not previously documented on BetterBidding.I can't recall staying at a Holiday Inn that was rated at 2 stars. Usually they are 3 star, sometimes 2.5. Holiday Inn Express properties are usually rated at 2.5 stars.Taxes and fees: $11.74. Grand total: 51.74.
AaronJB Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Congratulations on your success :)Very nice deal for this property, and thank you for letting us know about this new property for the site's PRICELINE Hotel List for the state. I agree that a HI as 2* is fairly unusual, and this does look like a nicer HI location.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using the site's PRICELINE link.Enjoy your stay.
