Hello,

i've been trying to bid for a Hotel in Manhatten (MTE,MTW, Times Square, Madison Square Garden, ESB etc) for a 3,5 to 4 Star Hotel, unfortunately not so successful so far.

My maximum bid was $145 so far, but no luck.

Does anyone have an idea what else i can try? I am aware that i will be there around Thanksgiving, but not sure, if the prices stays high because of that?

Anyone has an advise?

Thanks

Rates for this holiday weekend are usually high for Wednesday and Thursday nites and then drop somewhat as everyone who came in just for the parade, and all the out of town parade participants, head back home.

Exactly which zones (ie- "etc") did you include in your bidding?

What is your maximum bid? I know you have two others nites in already in Manhattan, would you consider staying outside of the city for these two nites? (ie- such as Hoboken/Jersey City where you could take the PATH train into Manhattan in ~15 minutes)

Bid around some areas in MTW,MTE, ESB, South Central Park, Madison Square Garden, Time Square....was not successfull for a 4* Bid up to $155

Then retried 3,5 Stars in some areas and ended up with MTE for $130....Got the New York Helmsley... Of course used your PRICELINE Link.

Thanks for your help and support
