Got the 3* Residence Inn Washington Vermont Avenue in Downtown/White house zone for $63 + taxes/

Like always - used the PRICELINE link!

Seems like a good place. I am going with my family (wife mom and daughter) for thanksgiving w/end, so it seems like the location is good (close to Dupont cr and the Mall).

I hope they'll have a large enough room for us (i know they don't promise anything more than double occupancy).

I'll try calling to ask for two doubles.

Any other suggestions?

3.5* DT/WH + DC Suburbs $60 - rejected

3* DT/WH $55 (or $60 can't remember) - rejected but got the screen saying if i want to add $15 you can rebid now - declined

3* DT/WH + Mt. Vernon $63 (nice round number) - accepted

Absolutely awesome deal for this DC property. :) PRICELINE does not guarantee 2 beds, but you really lucked out with this win, as I would think that this property would likely have a sofabed in the room at the very least. However, you could also certainly give them a call and politely (as whether or not they allow the request may depend on who you talk to) ask if they have rooms w/2 beds available. You may have to pay an upgrade fee (usually the difference between rooms w/1 bed and 2 bed) if there is usually a difference in cost between rooms w 1 & 2 beds at this property (there may not be.)
