I have looked at the hotel list for hotwire and could not find a match for this star rating. Any advice on identifying what the possibile hotels would be?

The Hilton Marina has been upgraded to 4*. So best guess for this property would be Hilton Marina.

For this date at the same price of $79 this option is showing. We are flying in on 12/4 to FLL and 12/5 leaving for a cruise out of Port of Miami. Trying to determine which hotel location would be the best choice for this scenario. Anyone with previous experience care to give some advice?

My advice is to stay Downtown Miami as i prefer to be closer to the port whenever possible.

Should you encounter any problem getting a taxi, mechanical trouble in route, traffic, accidents, etc. it's always easier to handle if you're 10 minutes from the port vs. an hour away. As well, realize you left a piece of luggage or something else back at the hotel, it's a simple and inexpensive roundtrip taxi ride to retrieve it as opposed to a costly and time consuming journey.
