jtam1234
Hi,I am just looking for a 1 night pre and post cruise stay in San Juan. I'm looking to go no lower than a 3* hotel. I'm trying to strive for a hotel that would not go higher than $80 with tax and fees included. Please help. Thanks! Link to comment
yellowdog
I don't think $80 will cut it for your 2/6/2010-2/7/2010 stay.Do you know how to use your re-bidding zones? If not, read this link to start with: Priceline Re-Bidding ExplainedPlease post with any questions you have. Can you please start a new topic for your post stay.Yellowdog. Link to comment
jtam1234
Thanks. I used up all my rebid zones for today. I was last rejected for $78 for a 3 star hotel. Not sure if they ran out of rooms but I actually bid $76 for 1 night post cruise stay and was upgraded to a 3.5 star hotel. The median price for the hotels are not that far off from each other. Any suggestions? Link to comment
thereuare
Rate are date specific and your purchase for 2/14 was an excellent deal for that stay. I would ignore the 'median prices' suggested by PRICELINE and they're not meaningful for your bidding... i wouldn't necessearily rush this one as you have plenty of time, but i think you're going to have to increase your current bidding to have a decent chance at success.Do you have a back-up reservation anywhere? What is the best rate you're able to find thru conventional booking channels? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
