JBedard Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 I just booked and got the Hyatt Regency Montreal for 11/18 and 11/19 at $92.00. I started at $70.00 it was delcined but the site said if I added $22.00 I could get a room without changing stars or date etc. My question is did I do the correct thing by just raising my bid the $22 or should I have just went up $5 a bid? I am new at this and trying to learn best strategy. Teach me?Thanks
yellowdog Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding and congratulations on your success!Thank you for sharing your result with the board :) You shouldn't have jumped the $22 offer. Raising your bid in $4 steps would have been better. But we all have made misstakes on the way.Enjoy your stay. Please use the site's HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links to start future purchases.Yellowdog.PS. I have moved your post to separate topic so your stay will appear in boards Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins
