Casey_213 Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 Could anyone help me ID-ing the following hotel: 4*Central Strip11/25 - 11/27$69 per nightAmeneties: Casino, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet, Spa ServicesThanks :)
AaronJB Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 Welcome to the site. :)This would be a match for the amenity set previously reported with Planet Hollywood, so that would be my guess. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.
Casey_213 Posted November 14, 2009 Author Report Posted November 14, 2009 I am new to Hotwire, so one more question,Do I still need to pay the resort fee? Or it's already included in the 'Total Price' of 'Your trip summary'? Thanks again :)
AaronJB Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 If there is a resort fee, it will be charged at the hotel.
Casey_213 Posted November 14, 2009 Author Report Posted November 14, 2009 How can I find out if there is resort fee or not?I see 'Tax recovery charges & fees:' in the trip summary, but nothing else.
AaronJB Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 Resort fees should be listed on all hotel websites. From the HOTWIRE website: "Are there any hidden charges, like taxes and fees, in your rates? With hotel reservations, the search results will show the base price (i.e., the nightly room rate before taxes and booking fees). On the next page -- before you make any commitment to book -- you will see the total price including all taxes and booking fees. Please note that each hotel may also have its own charges - for example, parking, resort fees, convention fees, and energy charges. You will be required to pay any such fees directly to the hotel (usually at check-out time). Once you book a hotel reservation, we recommend that you contact your hotel directly to inquire about any additional charges."_____________________________________________________________While not guaranteed, the HOTWIRE listing in this thread is a likely match for Planet Hollywood. If it is Planet Hollywood, Expedia.com lists a $4.99 resort fee per night for that hotel. However, as noted above, once you book the hotel and confirm, you can contact the hotel directly to confirm resort fee and other charges.
