My first bid was to a 5* in the center and museum quarter. Put in 70 and was offered the room for 107.

Instead I got the NH Amsterdam for 70.

The Euro is killing us with the us dollar so for 3 nights not bad. First time using priceline.

have stayed at a B&B (eel house) which is lovely and in the Jordaan district. The stairs are very steep, but the windows are great and you can smoke. But the fee of 90 euros per night is expense. Having done that I want to go to the museums this time and not have to walk so much.
