Hotwire Hotel: 4* NYC (Times Square-Theatre District) Doubletree Suites TS

Hi,

I am travelling by myself from Australia to NYC, arriving on the 27th Jan until the 4th Feb.

I was just wondering if anyone could help me, in what areas in central NY would be good to stay, as I am travelling by myself.

Also, do you think I should bid now or wait a bit longer.

What would be your budget per night for hotel? Do you have any preference for potential PRICELINE zones (Midtown East, Midtown West, etc) to stay?

i was looking at around $140 a night, if this is possible for a reasonable hotel

i was looking at the times sqaure area, but looking on the map, also midtown west, as i want to be handy to all the tpurist type things

looking at hotwire, there available, from the 27th jan 2010 - 4th feb 2010, at $135 a night

would anyone have an idea what this hotel might be, that has the following listed

Times Square - Theatre District

- suite

- fitness centre

- restaurant

- business centre

- high speed internet access

from reading other reports on here, i am thinking it might be the doubletree suits
