Priceline Hotel: 3.5* DC (Convention Center-Capitol Hill) Washington Court

Sorry for posting the old bid so late.

When I was posting my today's bid, I noticed that I hadn't posted my previous DC trip because of the problem with my id. It still doesn't let me post anything, so I had to create the new ID.

Anyway, it was during the Cherry Blossom Time in DC; so it might be useful for others who want to visit DC for next Cherry Blossom.

(At that time, there were only 4 free zones for 4 star hotels. I kept my bidding note.)

First bid: 4 stars, White House, $60

Continued with $5/$3 increments with 4 free zones and $75 was rejected.

Tried with 4 stars, Foggy Bottom, Capitol Hill, Dupont Circle, and Foggy Bottom from $77 to $100 and all were rejected.

Gave up the 4 stars and tried 3 and 1/2 stars.

ended up getting 3 and 1/2 star hotel at Capitol Hill at $77 + tax.

My purchase date was 4/3/2009 which was a day before. Probably it is better to book early for Cherry Blossom. Just a thought.
