ready.teddy
I haven't used hotwire for a rental car or Avis for a few years. Not looking forward to standing in line and getting the insurance, gas, etc sales pitch but I saved $60 compared to my backup rez. Worth it? It all depends on the hassle at the counter. I got used to using the National Emerald club, but $172 total for a week was too good to pass up. Used the board's HOTWIRE link as always...Happy Travels,Ready.Teddy Link to comment

ready.teddy
Damn, the rate is now down to $12/day. Hard to have patience though, usually it has been going up. Link to comment
ready.teddy
Now it is back up to $16/day. Listed as $18/day but when you click it and go to the detail screen, it says the price has gone down to $16/day. Such volatility!Good luck,Ready.teddy Link to comment
mi6op
Hi, i'm new to using priceline/hotwire for car rentals, though I have used pline for hotel stays in the past. How can you see the constant going rate for a car rental. I'm going to need to rent a car (any size it will probably be just for me if not one other person) out of Orando airport Feb 17-21. Ofcourse cheapest rate is what I'm after. Any help in this venture would be much appreciated! Thanks! Link to comment
