danigirl Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 Need help identifying a 4* hotel in Downtown Nashville - Vanderbilt University - Metrocenter area. My dates are 11/13 to 11/15. Amenities listed are smoke-free rooms, fitness, pool, restaurant, business center and high speed internet. Hotwire is giving me a price of $93. I am thinking it's the Sheraton.
AaronJB Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 I'd also agree that this is the Sheraton. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links.
danigirl Posted November 7, 2009 Author Report Posted November 7, 2009 I just used your PRICELINE link to bid on a 3.5* hotel in Downtown Nashville for the dates of 11/13 - 11/15. My bid of $53 was rejected. I will rebid tomorrow and I am hoping that this is the Sheraton downtown.
AaronJB Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 Please keep all posts regarding this stay in the same thread. Unfortunately, prices do seem high (for Nashville) on these dates - the only 4* downtown that I'm seeing when I search on HOTWIRE is now $135 for these dates and 3* and 4* properties in the downtown area seem noticeably higher than usual. What would be your budget per night?Thank you for using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links.
danigirl Posted November 8, 2009 Author Report Posted November 8, 2009 Ideally, I would like to pay less than $100 for at least a 3.5* downtown hotel. I'm going to try to bid in the $70 range on Priceline again tomorrow. My friend who lives in Nashville said there is a football game going on that weekend, which would perhaps explain why rates are higher than usual.
danigirl Posted November 8, 2009 Author Report Posted November 8, 2009 Just bid again on a 3.5* downtown Nashville for 11/13 to 11/15. My bid of $71 was rejected.
AaronJB Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 Thank you for using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links, and let us know if you are successful or have further questions.
danigirl Posted November 10, 2009 Author Report Posted November 10, 2009 My third bid of $105 was rejected. Looks like I'm going to be paying close to full price.
