Froufie Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 Booking for 1 night - jan 23rd pre cruise - and have come up with the following on hotwire:1) 3.5 star: shuttle, fitness center, pool, restaurant, high speed internet, golf nearby, tennis nearby - $54I believe this is the Wyndham Miami airport?2) 4 star: shuttle, fitness center pool, restaurant, business center, high speed internet - $99I think this is the Intercontinental West? or ???Any help with identifying the above greatly appreciated! (and I will definitely use the HOTWIRE link provided when I am booking!)Also if I need to book 2 rooms can I do that at once? or separately? Thanks,Froufie :)
AaronJB Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 Welcome to the site. :)I'd agree your two guesses are most likely correct. To book two rooms, you need to search for 2 rooms. I would definitely NOT recommend booking separately. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links.

thereuare Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. The 3* matches previous reports for the Holiday Inn Doral (aka Holiday Inn Airport West at 3255 N.W. 87TH AVE)so that would be my best guess for that one.... the 2.5* has not yet been identified or reported to the board.Any decision/update to your Hotwire Ft Lauderdale thread yet? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Froufie Posted December 13, 2009 Author Report Posted December 13, 2009 Sorry didn't know about keeping it all 'together'! FLL stay is for my gf - she is still 'deciding' for dec 28-30th.....but I guess she needs to book very soon!!!Thanks for info on HI - as you can see I still have not made a decision - may even 'attempt' a priceline bid as I have been 'studying and researching' and see some good prices on MIA downtown hotels for my night! Will let you know how it all turns out! Thanks again!
Froufie Posted December 14, 2009 Author Report Posted December 14, 2009 I DID IT!!! I DID IT - I bid on PRICELINE (via your link of course) and WON! 4 star Hyatt Regency Downtown - 1 night - Jan 23rd @ $65 plus taxes/fees!!! YAY - thanks for all your help and great info posted here (this is my first time trying Priceline! as I was too chicken before). So does this get moved to the PRICELINE thread - I now realize I started with HOTWIRE and ended up with PRICELINE!Thanks again!
AaronJB Posted December 14, 2009 Report Posted December 14, 2009 Congratulations on your success! Awesome deal for this Hyatt property and certainly a terrific first time bidding on PRICELINE! Glad you are pleased with the results and hopefully feel more comfortable with the service after this positive experience.
