axnguyen Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Hi all,I am on Hotwire, and searched downtown Montreal using the dates January 30 - February 3. One of my results is a 3* hotel for $69. The amenities listed are Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center and Spa. I checked the current listings of known hotels and couldn't match it up. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
AaronJB Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 Welcome to the site. :)Unfortunately, this property has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board. Sorry I could not be of more assistance. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links.
axnguyen Posted November 7, 2009 Author Report Posted November 7, 2009 I posted a few days ago about a 3* Montreal downtown hotel. I am getting a different hotel listing by requesting a hotel with 1 adult and 2 children. This 3 star hotel is listed for $65 and lists Fitness, Pool, Restaurant and Business Center as the amenities. I cannot find a match! Any ideas? BTW, I will definitely use the Priceline and HOTWIRE links listed on this website....this website is awesome!!
yellowdog Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 Please keep all posts in the same thread since posts are for the same dates.I'm sorry to say that a 3* property with this amenitie combo has not yet been reported to the board. And i don't know the area well enough to take an educated guess for this. Maybe we have some other member on the board that can gain some info about this property. If you decide to book this property so please post the outcome.Yellowdog.
axnguyen Posted November 11, 2009 Author Report Posted November 11, 2009 I was thinking, is it possible that the 3* hotel in downtown Montreal with the amenities Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Spa is the Novotel? According to this thread, when the Novotel was 3.5*, those were the amenities listed: http://www.betterbidding.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry262212
AaronJB Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 The Novotel may have been dropped to a 3*, but that would be just a guess, as that has previously not been reported to the board - this could very well be something else.
