hazzard Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 I can only find info in the forums about the 3* in Clackamas. Yet going onto Hotwire they are not showing a 3* in Clackamas only a 2*... Does anyone know what hotel this might be.... I was hopeing for the Courtyard but as previous people have said this is the 3*....any help would be greatly appreciated.
yellowdog Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 Please list the amenties HOTWIRE associates with the hotel you're looking at and we'll have a look at this. We also need your date(s) for the stay.Yes, the last report we have for the Courtyard is 3*.Yellowdog.
hazzard Posted November 4, 2009 Author Report Posted November 4, 2009 The dates are Nov 26-29th. Amenities: Free continental or full breakfast, pool, rooms are equipped with high speed internet. $52 per night
yellowdog Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 The Courtyard don't have comp breakfast so you can exclude that.I'm sorry to say that a 2* property with this amenitie combo has not yet been reported to the board. And i don't know the area well enough to take a guess for this hotel. Maybe we have some other member on the board that can gain some info about this property. Please post the result if you decide to book this 2* property.Just post if you have any futher questions.Yellowdog.
tilepusher Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 The fact that this hotel is rated 2* would eliminate the Courtyard immediately. If you book a Hotwire 2* hotel expecting anything nearly that good, you'll be sorely disappointed. My best guess (though I wouldn't want to bet money on it) is the Clackamas Inn; the Days Inn Portland South and the Clackamas Sunnyside Inn are also possibilities.
hazzard Posted January 7, 2010 Author Report Posted January 7, 2010 Thank you all for your help. I didn't want to be disappointed with the lower * rating. So I did not use HOTWIRE at alll to book my vacation. I ended up booking directly thru Monarch & it was a great hotel.. Staff was wonderful. Wish it was one of HOTWIRE's hotels.
thereuare Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 Glad you found something which worked well for your needs and you enjoyed your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
