Hi Guys,

I'm looking to stay in a 5* hotel in KL on those dates. I haven't seen many topics for this area, was hoping if anyone had any tips/input?

Better to go to priceline us site or singapore site? or is there another one?

many thanks

Welcome to BetterBidding :)

I don't know much about Kuala Lumpur and it's not very frequent on the board. But maybe we have a member that got some good advice for you.

Good luck with everything!

"Usually", the Renaissance had shown up previously for KUL, with the "New Wing" as 4 star and the "Renaissance Wing" as 5star.. (avoid the "New Wing" in any case!). Sometimes also the Sheraton Imperial (5-star).. but has been quite a while since I've seen it been reported. I don't assume that there's a big difference between using the asian or the us version of priceline.. seems they have the same inventory (no guarantee though).

Thank You for Naming Your Own Price – Unfortunately, we can't accept your offer

Do you get rejected when you bid or is this an error message?

yeap this is after I go through everything and it tries to bid for me I guess

is it because no 5* hotels exist in KL?

No, it's just beacouse your bid is to low for the *level. The 5* option would not been "active" for your dates if they lacked inventory.

I beg to differ. Priceline HK/Singapore has different inventory than Priceline USA. Also, Priceline UK accepts some of my bids when Priceline USA wouldn't.

Check out Asia Travel. Sometimes they have special deal like this. < US$100 for 5 star at KLCC vicinity. (http://book.asiatravel.com/Hotel.aspx?hid=377#hotel). The hotel list here shd give u some clue on which hotel offers that 'suite' deal (in this case, my guess is Prince, scroll all e way down). http://www.asiatravel.com/malaysia.html

Enjoy. :)
