Hotwire Hotel: 4* Ft Lauderdale (Downtown) Hilton Ft Lauderdale Marina

Hi,

I'm brand new to betterbidding.com - and I could use some help.

I've used priceline before but not hotwire . For an upcoming cruise, I need a hotel near the FLL cruise port on 12/4 and then again near airport on 12/11. I'll have a rental car both times - looks like the airport is the best place to rent/return?

I saw on the Board that I should be looking in the Priceline Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Beach or Airport areas. Any areas for hotwire?

I thought I'd splurge for 4* if I can get a room for $100 or less. Is that doable? Should I try Priceline or hot wire first? Any tips on how best to go about it.

Any other tips?
