I am looking at a Hotwire deal for a 3,5 star hotel in Midtown East

It includes the following amenities:

Travel dates are 27 april til May 2nd.

I found a hotel deal in hotwire

It's a 3* hotel in downtown-soho

Amenities include:

-restaurant

- business center

- high speed internet access

Our travel dates are April 27 till May 2nd

Any idea which hotel this might be?

And also: is it any good to stay downtown?

I can imagine it can be pretty quiet at night when the financial district is closed. On the other hand: soho is a fun district.

Oh I am sorry, I forgot about the other topic since it was already gone from the first page here :)

Well we're not sure we want to stay in that area, because it might be a little quiet and also far away from midtown

On the other hand: if the hotel is good and the deal is great, Downtown will be good for us.

I kind of found out that Hotel Reserve might be an option?

This property has not yet been reported to the board or identified, and with just these three non-descript amenities, it could be just about anything in the zone.

Staying Downtown will be quiet in the evening and at nite, and it's a trade-off of price vs. convenience.

We were kind of hoping to find a 3,5 of 4 * hotel in midtown or times square area for about 120 to 125 dollars per night.

I have been trying priceline for 1,5 month now but even with bids of 138 dollars they won't accept my offer (while at hotwire they offer rooms for 142 dollar, so I figured Priceline should be cheaper than that but even if they are it will only be a dollar or 2 then).

Now I saw this deal and figured it's certainly cheap!

The only thing is that I wanted to be a little sure about which hotel it might be, but if no one here has a clue it's kind of a tough decision.

Usually, 3* hotwire hotels are a good deal right?

If we book this property I'll let you know which hotel it was in the end. If not: we'll keep searching and hoping something better will come up

A property with the description above has just been reported as the Holiay Inn Soho so that would be my best guess for this one.
