yak Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Question for you. What kind of room do you get (bed type) with this price? Also, is parking really $35/night? Do you find alternative parking in the area? Thanks. Bid $55, got rejected, added a zone and bid $60, got rejected, added a zone and bid $65.Won one room at the Westin Seattle. inspiration100 Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Question for you. What kind of room do you get (bed type) with this price? Also, is parking really $35/night? Do you find alternative parking in the area? Thanks. If it's not that bad, I can assure you it's AT LEAST $25 ($35 sounds more correct though from my last stay). Call and request a high room (try for a NORTH TOWER room, high up (20th floor and above) and try to get a room that ends in 31, 32 or 33. I can't remember which rooms are kings or doubles, but it alternates each room. When they say the'll put you down for that, make sure you get it when you check in. This hotel tries to shove you 15th floor and below unless you request. Best room in the house is 4632 for a view. Why the north tower? Because if you want to go swimming and your in the south tower, you gotta go all the way down, cross over and back up. North tower also can have the Space Needle and water views which the south tower lacks. Also just a note, there is a wonderful McDonalds right across the street if you are a fast food lover like me.Enjoy your stay. The Seattle hotel guy.... Stayed in 14 hotels downtown and counting!
