chicktravel Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 Tried one day before, was thinking I'd have to go down to 3.5* and was aiming for Marriott Marquis where my conference is. I ended up a block away with a 4* option with my first bid attempt...can't complain!

chicktravel Posted November 4, 2009 Author Report Posted November 4, 2009 Actually I lucked out further. I needed to extend my stay by one more day, so from the Renaissance, I pricelined again - 4* for $120 on a Monday night. Didn't get it, so I used the PRICELINE link below and tried 4* for $140, and guess what, I got the Renaissance AGAIN! So I went down and told the lobby that I got a reservation for that night too, and they let me keep the same room. The view was gorgeous from my room, and I was in the heart of all the action. It really pays to read this forum closely. Thank you for this servie!
