WDWgoer Posted December 18, 2004 Author Report Posted December 18, 2004 Yes noticed the 4*, just curious what the 3.5* was. I assume that the 4* for $107 is the Wyndham?
thereuare Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 Most likely... that would be my best guess. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
WDWgoer Posted December 28, 2004 Author Report Posted December 28, 2004 Do we still not know what the 3.5* is? The suspense is killing me.
WDWgoer Posted January 7, 2005 Author Report Posted January 7, 2005 Does anyone know of any good sites where we can find Disney Hotels discounted? My dates are Jan. 26th-30th, for 2 rooms. And yes I have already tried hotwire and the swan/dolphin are not there.
floridafan Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 I'm not expert, but will share some ideas....Are you interested in official Disney hotels or hotels in the Disney area? For Swan and Dolphin on those dates, you could try Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) rates (their parent company)-- I think joining the Starwood program can be almost instantaneous, you are emailed an account number and then you can access the SPG site. When checking the SPG.com site I noticed they had pretty good rates for the Swan and Dolphin, but I wasn't looking at your dates. There are usually Swan/Dolphin discounts for teachers, nurses, government (if that applies to you). Sometimes there are discounts with Entertainment Card and AAA. For Other official Disney properties, I think your best discounts at this point are AAA since discount codes for that time frame have expired. There is always the Hilton in Downtown Disney too, since guests there receive early entry privileges at WDW. For non-Disney hotels, but in the area, try Easyclick, Priceline and Hotwire.
floridafan Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 I checked your dates on the SPG site and they are $184/nt. I believe the Dolphin, the Swan is sold out.
homeschoolmom Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 I highly recommend www.mousesavers.com as a starting point for planning a Disney vacation. Very thorough discount info, esp. for WDW hotels.
WDWgoer Posted March 27, 2005 Author Report Posted March 27, 2005 As it turned out we stayed at one of the Moderate category hotels on the disney property. We booked through a travel agent and used the AAA rate at about $107 a night.
