jeffer98 Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 I wanted to be in the downtown area so I would be able to walk to most of the tourist sites. So I only searched the (White House - Downtown area) I worked my way up from $75 in $5 intervals. I did this over 2 days and I added a rebid zone each time. The prices for this hotel, for my dates are $270 a night for the cheapest room with an AAA discount. I was thinking I might get the Renaissance Mayflower, so getting the Lowes was a suprise, since it seems to rarely come up on Priceline. So I ended up with a super good deal.....plus any nice hotel for $100 a nite is always a good deal.

pmom Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 Wow, you really did well! I bid on priceline for that same area a week later and I had to go up to $140 (and I had three zones: White House, Dupont, and Capitol). You get to stay in a really nice hotel too! Congratulations.
