Priceline Hotel: 1/4/05 (3 nights) 3* - need price suggestions

I'm looking for a 3* at $55/night.

3 Nights - Jan 4, 5, and 6th

I was thinking the UNLV section looked good on Priceline - your site showed they offer the Alexis Resort and Embassy Suites.

We are moving to Vegas and just need a room for a few nights so we can find an apt - doesn't need to be on Strip - looking for the best hotel for under $60 basically. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I looked on Alexis and got this for the nights:

Don't know if this is something you are interested in or not but Sams Town which is on the Boulder Hwy. and has a casino, rest., bowling ally, movie theaters etc. with it is available for these nights for $125 total with this link:

it may be more than you want but there is a convention 1/6-1/9 of 115,000 people so rooms closer seem to be higher priced. I have stayed here and it was clean and easy to get in and out of with plenty of amenities.

In addition to the above, Hotels.com has the Park Plaza and the Lady Luck within your budget.... although these are listed there as 2.5* properties.

HOTWIRE also shows a 2.5* property in Downtown Las Vegas for $35/nite... which i high suspect is the Park Plaza.

Do any of the above work for your or would you still like to try Pricelne?

The Imperial Palace can often be booked for under $40 by CLICKING HERE (making the above deal not a good one)

For your dates the above shows "on request" which means they have to contact the hotel to see if they can get additional allotment for your stay. Given that it doesn't appear you're in a huge rush to book this, i would try to purchase it now, and they'll get back to you within 48 hours as to whether they were able to get it for you or not. This still leaves you plenty of time to check other resources if they can't come thru.

havent been around here for awhile.

I doubt youd find anything close to the strip as the Annual Electronic Show (at the sands Convention Center) is 1/6-1/9 so people start to show up on the 4th & 5th. Besides COMDEX I think it rates as one of the biggest shows in LV. so even off Strip places know they can raise their rates and get it. Way off might be possible.
