I thougt, annalyzing all info that this would have to be the Marriot resort in which case it would have been a very good deal. I booked and did get this resort. I am still happy about it although the price difference with the price quoted on the site is in the end (taxes and service fees taken into account) only $20,--. Still not a bad deal.

It's not clear from your post vs. topic title... did you receive the Marriott Mountain Resort and Spa or the Cascade Resort and Spa? I did get the Vail Cascade rosort & Spa.

The ammenities where:

Resort

Slopeside

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-speed Internet Access

Golf Nearby

Tennis Nearby

Spa Services

The golf nearby lead me to believe it was the mariott because that gives a view over a golf course. For the cascade resort is not so near as with the Mariott.
