Hotwire Hotel: 3* Newark (Secaucus-Meadowlands) Holiday Inn Harmon Meadow

Hello,

we are planning to make a trip to new york from the 14th November until the 21th November,

we are 4 people.

I saw that the Westin in Jersey City is very good located and likewise the Hyatt in Secaucus - Meadowlands.

There is a bus stop direkt in front of the hotel and the trip to NYC take only 20 minutes.

In New Jersey likewise are a lot of shoppings mals.

We would prefer to have a one room with two doppel bed to save some money and

spent for shopping,

What you can recommend and was would be the aproximately price per night.

PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy so if you use that service there would be a risk that you receive a room with only one bed.

HOTWIRE allows you to search for up to quad occupancy and guarantees sleeping accomodations for everyone you include in your search, but unfortunately a 4* hotel doesn't appear when searching for your dates for 1room/4adults. HOWEVER, a 4* does appear in this area when searching 2adults/2children... this would ensure accomodations for 4, but obviously you'd need to be discreet (ie- not have everyone go to the front desk at check-in, etc) since in reality you'd be 4 adults. So this would be a 'risk' as well, but much less so, imo. As well, note that while accomodations for four are guaranteed, 2 beds aren't necessarily guaranteed, it could be one bed plus a pullout sofabed, one bed plus a rollaway, etc.

Lastly, note that you can't bid on a specific hotel, you're purchasing any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) specified.

Since the HOTWIRE property above doesn't appear when searching for 1room/4adults, what room/adult/children combination are you using above to have these offerings appear?

I have used 2 adults + 2 Kids

then the 4* apperas like you recommended

but the 3* likewise apperas when I put 1 room 4 adults

The 4* matches both the Hyatt and the Westin so either of these would be my best guess.... although i'd favor this being the Westin.

The 3* is a match for the Holiday Inn Harmon Meadow so that would be my best guess for that one.

I have booked the hotel via HOTWIRE because of the need to have space for 4 people in one room.

I got the Holiday Inn Harmon Meadow

from the 15th November until the 22nd November

$68 Dollar per night

$476 Subtotal

Tax recovery charges and fee $69,11

Total price 545,11 $

I think the price is very good.
