Hotwire Hotel: 3* Chicago (Magnificent Mile-Streeterville) Four Points

I just booked a 3* Hotel on Hotwire for New Years Eve 12/31/2009-1/1/2010 for $53/night in the magnificent mile/streeterville area. It turned out to be the Four Points by Sheraton and with tax came out to a total of $66.

I'm going to have to say that I find this win pretty shocking. While I'm glad jmelni2 was able to get a very (very) good deal on a well-located hotel, a few years ago, NYE hotels in downtown Chicago would be either expensive or in some cases sold out. To get a hotel on NYE for just over $50 is pretty astonishing.

For anyone interested, even the HOTWIRE 3.5* and 4* hotels on NYE are looking fairly reasonable!
