sell Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Hello newbie here looking for help please. Been trying for a 4* or 5* in Sydney for the days from 29th November to 4th December. Started at $71 AUD and now up to $114 AUD but had no luck at all, no counter offers nothing. Tryed all days even for up to just for 1 night. Any advice please? thanks Russ.

sell Posted October 20, 2009 Author Report Posted October 20, 2009 Im from the U.K so bidding in Pounds but buy checking a currency convertor im able to work out what it is in Aussie Dollar's. Dont know my limit really but i know what im up to is begining to work out not cheap or worth it at all. Thought Priceline was supposed to be a place to grab a bargin. There must be a reason for having no luck bidding, either theres no availability or the poor exchange rate of the U.K Pounds im guessing??Thanks
sell Posted October 21, 2009 Author Report Posted October 21, 2009 Started bidding at $73 and got up to $99 but still no avail, decided to shorten my dates to the last 2 days of my request and bidded $100. Got accepted stright away for the 5* Marriott, College St. Pleased but have to try again for the other days im looking for now. If i do manage to get the days im after, in the same hotel - would i need to check out and then in again as i may have 2 reservations? Thanks
