zzdocxx Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Hi all, I love this forum and have used it for Priceline bidding. My older brother, (the veterinarian), is something of a "Luddite" and doesn't even have internet access at his home in Northern California. He is planning a trip to Disneyland with:himself, his wife, his 2 daughters (in their early 20's), his son (14 years old). He would like my mom to come up from San Diego and see them while they are there. My mom may bring a friend with her. So that would be a total of 6 or 7 people. My questions:1. Could I make reservations, pay for them with my credit card, etc., for my brother, his family, and my mom, using Hotwire? (I noticed on Priceline that one of the first things they ask for is the names of all parties booking the rooms.) I think two or three rooms would be OK -- though I see on a recent thread that there are issues about number of room occupants(?)2. Hotwire has immediately offered $56 for Disneyland South, for a 3.5* property. I am guessing it is the Crowne Plaza, with amenities listed as:Fitness Center, Swimming, Restaurant, Business Center, Laundry, High-speed internet. Is that a good guess? If so, I do realize there is a $12 resort fee, but that parking is free. (is that correct?)Thanks! ! !:)
thereuare Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Yes, you can purchase the rooms on his behalf. There will be a separate form for "guest name" and "billing information"... you'd need to use his name (or whoever else's name you want to put the rooms in) for the guest information and your own name for the billing information. For help with the above identification, how many rooms/guests are you searching for (so we can duplicate your search and see the same offering)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
